The Academy - Considering the fast-track developments in various biotechnology specialities, and in an attempt to satisfy the need of Indian Biotechnology industries for appropriately trained manpower.

Mediclone has formed an exclusive entity called “Mediclone Academy of Education and Training”, with an aim to impart industry-oriented highly specialized education and training in the field of Biotechnology, especially Immunotechnology.

Hybridoma technology - The trained manpower in Hybridoma technology is very limited in our country and hence Mediclone has a commitment to produce the right manpower for the industry.




Summer training for Postgraduate level Biotech students and faculties of Colleges and Universities is being considered by Mediclone. A similar training will also be offered for personnel sponsored by biopharmaceutical industries & institutions.




Since 2005, Mediclone conducts a one year Post - M.Sc., Diploma course in immunotechnology in association with the Dept. of Zoology, University of Madras. Applications can be had from the Dept. of Zoology, Guindy Campus, University of Madras, Chennai, for the year 2008-09.





Mediclone offers a two years fulltime M.Sc.(Biotechnology) course, with specialization in Immunotechnology, as a ‘Collaborative Course’ of Alagappa University, Karaikudi, from the year 2008-09.
